The ‘Every Place has a Story,’ is a unique video contest for MyLoc, organized by nFaktor Solutions Pvt. Ltd. It encourages participants to create a video that tells a story based on their special moments and experiences. The video can be shot at home or office. The contest invites entries from every enthusiastic video maker who can tell stories through a short video.

Prize Money:

• 1^st Prize – INR 1 Lakh
• 2^nd Prize – INR 50 Thousand

Here are the terms and conditions:

1. The ‘Every Place has a Story’ video contest is organized by nFaktor Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (nFaktor) for MyLoc.
2. The contest starts on Wednesday, 16^th November 2022 at 10:00 am and ends on Friday, 6^th January 2023 midnight.


3. Eligibility:
   1. The contest is open to Indian nationals only, who are above the age of 18 years as on 16^th November 2022.
   2. The winning amount will be paid to an Indian citizen and in an Indian bank account only.
   3. Employees of nFaktor and their immediate relatives are not eligible for participation in the contest.


4. Video Submission:
   1. With one registered mobile phone number only one video can be submitted.
   2. Participant acknowledges that the directors, creators, actors, or persons etc featured in the video have no claim whatsoever to any commercial benefit from the video or associated promotions.
   3. Participant gives rights to the company to overlay any video with sub-titles of its choice.
   4. Participant affirms that the video or portions of it have not already been uploaded or are available online. In a situation where the video or any part of the video is found not to be an original creation of the participant or if there is a claim of any kind (copyright, privacy, plagiarism etc.,) by any person or organization, it is the duty, responsibility, and obligation of the participant who has submitted the video to ensure that the owner is legally addressed at its own cost and effort. In the event of such a claim, nFaktor will remove the video from its promotional material. However, if the same has been further shared or forwarded, and the same cannot be removed, it is the duty, responsibility, and obligation of the participant who has submitted the video to make any compensation to the claimant as legally required to.
   5. The participant hereby gives ownership rights to nFaktor and its affiliates to freely use and distribute the submitted video in any manner and through any medium, thereof as entered by them in this video contest.
   6. Participant cannot upload the video on their social media platforms or share it with another individual or organisation without the written consent from nFaktor.
   7. To withdraw from the contest or remove the submitted video at any given point of time, the participant can inform nFaktor at humans@myloc.in. However, if the submitted video is already circulated or is being used for promotion the same cannot be removed.


5. Winners Selection:
   1. Shortlisted winners will be required to submit proof of residence and age by submitting a government issued document which validates the above details.
   2. nFaktor at its sole discretion may reject any video completely or may edit/remove/alter any submitted video if in its opinion finds the entire video or its parts to be obscene, provocative, or otherwise inappropriate or irrelevant.
   3. Incomplete information provided or failure to provide true and accurate information may disqualify a participant. nFaktor shall have the absolute and sole discretion to determine whether any participant should be disqualified because of failure to abide by these terms and conditions, bad faith, fraud, or any other reason.
   4. nFaktor has the sole discretion to select the winners from all eligible entries received.
   5. Participants agree to accept the winners' selection and will not interfere in the selection process.
   6. nFaktor holds the right to publish or not to publish the winner's name/s through any medium/channel.


6. Prize Money:
   1. Winners to receive the prize money through NEFT transfer.
   2. Winners agree to pay the tax if applicable from their account.


7. Materials/content sent/submitted to nFaktor including feedback and other communications of any kind as well as submission of an entry to this contest shall be deemed to be non-confidential. nFaktor shall be free to reproduce, distribute and publicly display such feedback, and materials without limitation or obligation of any kind. nFaktor is also free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques contained in such submissions or materials for any purpose. Participants agree and confirm that such submissions and any content/material included therein do not breach the intellectual and/or proprietary rights of any third party (individual or organization).
8. The participant will not have any claim against nFaktor or its affiliates about matters connected with this contest. All participants agree to waive any rights of claim against nFaktor concerning the contest, prize, declaration of the winner, or the T&Cs hereof. nFaktor shall not be liable for any losses, damages, injuries, liabilities, or inconvenience suffered by any participant as a result of, entering into this contest, or making the video, or accepting any part of the prize. Further, participants will hold nFaktor harmless against any loss, damage, taxes, or liabilities suffered by them due to their participation in this contest or accepting any part of the prize.
9. nFaktor reserves the right to withdraw the contest and/or change, amend, extend, and/or alter any of the terms & conditions of this contest, without any reason and at any time, without prior notice.
10. Disputes, if any, will be subject to Indian laws and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, India.
11. By entering the video contest, participant indemnifies nFaktor and any of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agencies from any liability whatsoever, and waives all causes of action, related to any liability, claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the contest.
12. By participating in this contest, each participant agrees that he/she has read and understood these T&Cs and by their participation in the contest, each participant agrees to be bound by the T&Cs.
13. By participating in the contest/s the participant agrees to be contacted regarding the participated contest and/or any other promotional event through whats app, email, call or text messages by MyLoc team.

It encourages participants to create a video that tells a story showcasing emotions experienced from special moments at home or office. The contest invites entries from everyone who meets the eligibility criteria and has a story to tell through a short video.
2. What is the Contest duration?
   The contest starts on Wednesday, 16^th November 2022 at 10:00 am and ends on Friday, 6^th January 2023 midnight.
3. What are the conditions to participate and win the Contest?
   Indian nationals above the age of 18 years as of 16th November 2022 can participate in the contest. Employees of nFaktor or their immediate relatives are not eligible to participate in the contest.
   The videos submitted should comply with the video criteria and terms and conditions of the contest.
4. Will I win the prize in cash?
   Winners will receive the prize money through NEFT transfer to any Indian Bank account. The contest team will reach out to the winners to disburse the prize money.
5. Can I submit more than one videos?
   Only one video can be submitted through one registered mobile number.
6. When will I know if I have won?
   Winners will be intimated through an email and/or a phone call between 9^th January to 23^rd January 2023.
7. What are the criteria for judgement?
   The video must tell a story showcasing emotions. The video could be shot at home or office. (Video should not be related to travel, adventure, or public gatherings. The video should convey the emotions through little moments and experiences that happened at any place connected to you). The judgement of the most relevant and winning video/s will be done by a reputed panel who will judge the videos based on a) quality of video, b) emotional content c) storyline d) audience appeal and alignment with the Terms and Conditions. The decision of the judges will be final and binding on the participants and no communication in this regard will be entertained.
8. Will my Videos be shared on social media or anywhere else?
   Yes. nFaktor may upload videos on social media or any other platform as found suitable at its discretion without any further intimation to the participant.
9. Will you use my name/email ID or phone number in connection with my video?
   nFaktor reserves the right to publish the participant’s name but as a best practice will not publish the shared phone number or email ID without the consent of the participant.
10. Can I use the same video or part of the video anywhere else?
    The video submitted for the contest becomes the property of nFaktor Hence, participants are not allowed to share the same with anyone or upload it anywhere without the written consent of nFaktor.
11. When will I come to know the status of my video?
    Shortlisted winners will be contacted by nFaktor through email or phone between 9^th January to 23^rd January 2023. Winners will be announced on 25th January 2023 on the website.
12. Why am I not getting the OTP?
    The participant must ensure to fill all the mandated fields and agree to the terms and conditions, and privacy policy. Even after this, if OTP is not received, the participant should check their email spam folder or the internet. In case OTP is still not received, please write to us at humans@myloc.in
